What Makes a Good Digital Camera?

What Makes a Good Digital Camera?

To keep cost down, most entry-level cameras will have cutback on high-tech features. Cameras under £100 might have reduced photo quality, lower in-built memory, smaller LCD screens, slower response times and no High Definition compared to more expensive models. You can easily find cheap cameras for under £100 but they might sacrifice features that make photography exciting.

Microsoft to Unveil Xbox Successor?

Just as Sony announces its PlayStation 4, rumors have been brewing about Microsoft introducing its next-gen Xbox as well. In fact, Computer and Video Games reports that Microsoft may even pull out of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this June and instead will put up a “one-off media event” in early April to show off the new Xbox. The ninjas in gaming forum NeoGAF have noted that the company that helped organize Microsoft's E3 media briefing last year has registered the domain “XboxEvent.com,” indicating that such an event might be in the works.

Watch this creative way to pull a truck's engine

Alpina tunes its first crossover, XD3 Bi-Turbo results

There was no teasing and no build-up, just a "Boom!" and there appeared the Alpina XD3 Bi-Turbo. Said to be in response to customer demand, the XD3 Bi-Turbo uses the twin turbocharged, 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel from the BMW X3 xDrive35d. But where that engine in standard guise gets 313 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque, Alpina ups the specs to 350 hp and 516 lb-ft. The result, through the eight-speed ZF transmission tuned for the application, is a 0-62 mile-per-hour run of 4.9 seconds.
