Spy Tec Inventio-HD 720P Video Sunglasses review

The Inventio-HD 720P Video Sunglasses from Spy Tec Gear Shop discretely record HD video with mono audio for a bit more than an hour on a single charge, in a not too cumbersome and fairly stylish package.  With a system like this, there is nothing but trade-offs – balancing weight, size of the glasses, battery life, storage capacity, and video quality along with overall cost. After using them for a while, I can say the Inventio-HD pretty much delivers.

Julie's Gadget Diary - My quest for an ultimate alarm clock has finally ended

I've been searching for an ultimate alarm clock for what seems like forever. I even have proof that it's been at least 6 years… I posted a diary post back in 2007 listing my must-have alarm clock features.  Some of which  included:. 1. Wake up by playing a tune from a specific playlist in iTunes.
2. Play the local national news.
3. Play the local weather forecast.
4. Speak any calendar events and to-dos that I have scheduled for the day.
5. Speak the current time at specific intervals during the wake-up cycle.

I tried creating my own clock by writing Applescript scripts and was able to get some of the pieces to work.

Dick Tracy's watch is on the way from Neptune

There are a few smart watches on the market, and the promise of more to come, but they mostly seem to be accessories for a smart phone.  The Neptune Pine from Neptune doesn't need a smart phone to pair with.  Just insert a microSIM card and it is a smartphone.  Neptune says with the Pine, you can “make and receive phone calls, shoot video, take pictures, check your email, browse the web, listen to your music, and much more; all independently without the presence of a smartphone.”  You can even pop the watch from the band and use it as a tiny phone for your Blue Steel pose.
