UK carrier EE retweets Sony's Xperia Z1 (Honami) teaser

Yesterday Sony took it to Twitter to promote the "smartphone everyone's been talking about," which the rumor mill unanimously agrees is the Xperia Honami or Xperia Z1. Today UK's EE retweeted that message, which is a strong hint the carrier will offer the 20.7MP cameraphone. One of the most curious rumors about the Honami / Xperia Z1 is that it will record 4K video with its 1x2.3" camera sensor.

Thanks to a Romanian retailer, which sent a couple of photos to the Romanian publication Mobilissimo.ro, we get our first glimpse of what seems to be a press photo of one of Rumorland's prime citizens, the Apple iPhone 5C. The photo shows the white plastic device with Apple's iOS 7 running up front. There are also a couple of pictures of a dummy iPhone 5C wearing a bumper case - the dummy is supposed to keep the seat of the real device in the retailer's store warm until the real-deal gets there.

Before Xiaomi appeared on the market, Meizu was China's only smartphone maker with a cult-like following. It was often referred to as China's Apple. Ford has partnered with St. Petersburg Polytechnic University for three years to research various kinds of connected vehicle communications. The university tie-up is part of its study of space robots, NASA systems created to enable space-to-Earth communication, and the university's own development of systems that enable communication between the International Space State and Earth. The objective is for Ford to engineer layers of robust networks and redundancy systems that will allow your car to speak to other cars, to emergency vehicles, to infrastructure like traffic lights and buildings, and to the cloud.
