Ford Fiesta ST customs get wild at SEMA

Ford Fiesta ST customs get wild at SEMA

The massive 57-car SEMA showcase by Ford ranges from obvious aftermarket-friendly models like the Mustang, to the not so obvious ones, like the Transit Connect and cute-as-an-explosive-button Fiesta ST. Ford plucked several Fiesta STs for SEMA duty, and we were on the show floor today to get a closer look at some of them. First up is the striking COBB Tuning and Tanner Foust Racing Fiesta ST (above) finished in a black-and-gray digital camouflage, much like that used in the military, and is meant to raise awareness for the Pat Tillman Foundation. COBB also fitted a three-inch exhaust and a cold-air intake.

Google Now For iOS Update Brings Feature Parity With Its Android Counterpart

Google Now For iOS Update Brings Feature Parity With Its Android Counterpart

Google today rolled out an update of its Google Search app for iOS, which in turn brings an update for Google Now, a substantial one at that. There's near feature parity between Now on iOS and Android after the update, though it may not last soon seeing as how Google is expected to update the app on Android in the near future. The app finally gets notifications support, so if its time for you to leave for that appointment in the morning, the app will notify you. Support for reminders has been added as well, users simply need to ask the app to remember something for them.

Soak test begins for DROID MAXX, Ultra and Mini camera-fixing update; brings 50GB of Drive space

Soak test begins for DROID MAXX, Ultra and Mini camera-fixing update; brings 50GB of Drive space

Last week, we were tipped off to a forthcoming soak test for Verizon's Motorola DROID Maxx, DROID Ultra and DROID Mini. Said update is looking to fix the same camera issues that the Moto X suffered before getting its first update. Verizon's changelog only mentions “improvements for camera quality,” but if the Moto X update is anything to go by then that should specifically mean improved HDR performance, faster shutter and better focusing. Beyond all that, this update will give DROID owners a promotion offer for 50GB of free Google Drive storage, something I'm sure tons of folks wouldn't mind snapping up.

Blizzard Trademarks "Warlords Of Draenor", Possible World Of Warcraft Expansion

Blizzard's BlizzCon 2013 is nearly upon us and many expect that the developer will be taking the opportunity to take the wraps off the expansion for their World of Warcraft MMORPG. Last we heard the name "The Dark Below" was a possibility, but the name has since been debunked as a hoax and thanks to a new sighting by MMO-Champion, a new trademark has been filed and this time it's for the title, "Warlords of Draenor", along with the warlordsofdraenor.com domain name.

12.9 Inch iPad Reportedly Enters Testing Phase At Foxconn

Apple has long been rumored to be working on an iPad with a larger display, certainly larger than the 9.7 display size it has kept constant ever since the original iPad was launched back in 2010. The company obviously hasn't even dropped a hint about this change and when exactly might it take place. Over the past few months we have heard rumors that Apple is testing a 12.9 inch iPad, one that's likely to be released next year. A recent report suggests that the tablet has now entered testing phase at Foxconn, and that its expected as early as March 2014.
