If you live in the UK and are of a certain age, you'll remember the period during the 1980s when National Film Board of Canada productions were oddly commonplace on our TV screens. Some were for kids, some for adults, some defied categorisation altogether. And now, a selection of around 2000 of these avant-garde productions can be viewed on your Android phone, thanks to the official NFB Films Android app.
Quite a few of them used to give us nightmares. Great to have access to the archive, though. How we miss the days when television used to be challenging.
