This morning the Japanese/Korean manufacturer Hitachi GST announced its latest Deskstar HDD with the 5K4000 Series offering nonetheless than 4TB of disk space. Featuring the Deskstar 7K3000 CoolSpin technology, the 5K4000 comes with a 25dB idle noise while consuming 28% less power.
