Nokia 703 photo leaked – Symbian or Windows Phone 7?

A recent image of a Nokia device has surfaced on the internet bearing the name/model "Nokia 703". Based on the image alone it looks remarkably similar to Nokia Sea Ray handset that Nokia's CEO Stephen Elop revealed a while back. Similarly the Sea Ray is also reminiscent of the MeeGo-based handset the Nokia N9, so what exactly is the Nokia 703.

Panasonic HDC-Z10000 3D camcorder announced

Panasonic HDC-Z10000 3D camcorder announced

3D movies with the red/blue glasses have been around, although we think that it was probably James Cameron's Avatar that really kickstarted the whole 3D movie craze. Well if you're interested in creating your own 3D movies, Panasonic has revealed a dual-lens 3D camcorder, the HDC-Z10000. Based on the photo we're thinking that is definitely semi-professional/professional grade, and along with the model number that features a lot of zeros, we have a strong suspicion that the price will also reflect the same amount of figures as the model number.

Siemens shows off iPad-controlled homeConnect appliances

You use your mobile device for pretty much everything these days, right. So why not the kitchen. That was part of Siemens' pitch today at IFA - the ability to control your cooking and dish washing from afar. The company debuted homeConnect, a "networked kitchen," which lets homeowners check on their energy consumption, shut down appliances remotely, receive notifications when the washing is done and view the contents of their fridges in real time - with the help of internal cameras trained at the food. By downloading recipes from the internet, users can also import temperature and cooking times.

Smartphone App Predicts Incoming Traffic Light

Smartphone App Predicts Incoming Traffic Light

Researchers from MIT and Princeton have collaborated and come up with a smartphone application that can predict whether the incoming traffic light would be red, green, or yellow once the driver reaches it. The SignalGuru app works by mounting the smartphone onto the car's dashboard. Then, the app captures images of traffic lights, which are analyzed based on the lights it flashed. Finally, the data is passed along to other nearby SignalGuru users.
The app can inform the driver how quickly he or she should drive to get through the next intersection.

Razer BlackWidow Stealth keyboards keep the mechanical keys, ditch the noise

You know what's great. Mechanical keyboards - what with their satisfying clicks. You know what's less awesome. Having to listen to that obnoxious racket all day. Razer claims you can have your cake (in this case, tactile feedback) and eat it too (blessed silence!) with its BlackWidow Stealth Editions. These are, more or less, the same boards that debuted last August, but with quieter switches and a matte finish. Both models are available now, with the same programmable keys and on-the-fly macro recording, while the Ultimate version adds "extreme anti-ghosting" to its already impressive noise pwnage.

Rogers is rolling out their 4G LTE network, and one of the first devices that will test its speeds is the Samsung Galaxy S II LTE. The Galaxy S II LTE will feature several key upgrades over the its non-LTE brother, including an upgraded Xynos CPU pumping out 1.5GHz of dual core power, a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, and built-in NFC technology. The move to a larger screen seems to be consistent with at least one or two versions of the Galaxy S II headed for carriers in the US.

Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet vs. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1... fight!

Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet vs. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1... fight!

We've seen it before, but not against one of its chief rivals: the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Now here they are, sharing a little table space - but not getting along too well. On one hand the Tab 10.1 is thin and light on its feet. On the other, the ThinkPad Tablet is large and would very much like to be in charge of your corporate lifestyle. Due to Honeycomb's limited customizations, Lenovo's tackling this angle thanks in large part to some enterprise- and stylus-friendly software, much of which the device comes with pre-installed.

AT&T's 4G LTE network alive and kicking in Atlanta; images show 25Mbps speeds

Following BGR's exclusive report on Monday revealing that AT&T's 4G LTE network has gone live in Chicago, we have received new images confirming that the network is alive and kicking in Atlanta as well. A source has provided BGR with multiple images of AT&T's 4G LTE service in action, and we have verified that the tester is indeed located in Atlanta, Georgia. Our source in Chicago had trouble finding full service, but Atlanta seems to be blanketed a bit better at this pre-launch stage.

Realtree Camo iPhone 4 cases

Realtree Camo iPhone 4 cases

While we're not sure why you would want a camouflaged iPhone 4 case, perhaps for novelty reasons or perhaps you use your iPhone extensively for nature photography and animals, but whatever your reasons may be, Case-mate has released a slew of camo cases designed for the iPhone 4 specifically. There are 11 cases to choose from, all of which are nature inspired. Some are pretty darn realistic in the sense that if you were to lie in wait in the bushes, your phone would totally be hidden.

iTunes Match seeded to developers, supports streaming playback

iTunes Match seeded to developers, supports streaming playback

Illegal downloading of music is hurting the record industry, but despite the fact that songs are now pretty affordable (about $0.99 per song), nothing trumps free, right. When iTunes Match was announced during WWDC 2011 earlier this year, it looks like Apple may have found a way to fight piracy. The service is now in beta and has been integrated into iTunes 6.1 for developers, but at the moment it appears to be rather buggy.

Klipsch Image S4A for Android Headphones Will Put Premium Sound in Your Ears

Word around the block is that Klipsch makes some pretty good headphones. The $100 Image S4 series is said to be comparable to top-of-the-line headphones, but previously they only fully supported iOS devices. You could still listen to music, but the in-line controller didn’t work in most cases. Thankfully, they’ve introduced a pair of Image S4 headphones – model number S4A – specifically for Android.  No difference, really – amazing sound, functional inline remote and great design for maximum comfort. Ships sometime soon.

These new photos have appeared on an Algerian website, where someone is actually selling an Omega for 42,000 Algerian dinars (about €400).

Samsung ChatOn to bring BBM-like experience to Android, iOS, BlackBerry, bada [video]

Samsung is set to make a big splash with new products during the IFA trade show in Berlin, which kicks off later this week, and the phone maker recently announced a new group text application called ChatOn. The application allows Android, iOS, BlackBerry and bada users to create groups to quickly send and receive group text messages. The service will no doubt compete with BBM, Apple's iMessage, Google's Huddle, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp and GroupMe, but Samsung is trying to distinguish itself from those other services by offering a more robust feature set.
