BitTorrent, the company responsible for developing the innovative technology that delivers gargantuan files across the Internet, is heading into a new direction. BitTorrent Executive Director for Marketing, Matt Mason, says that the company is planning to “align itself with the entertainment industry and legally distribute movies, music, and books online.” Apparently BitTorrent wants to prove that it can go beyond offering free downloads by generating more sales. So far, the company already has over 160 million users of its two software clients – BitTorrent and μTorrent.

Nissan outlines Nismo's expansion and credentials

Nissan is reportedly working toward turning its Nismo arm into a legitimate sub-brand. According to TheDetroitBureau.com, the Japanese automaker plans to pattern its performance wing after Mercedes-Benz's AMG, which means that moving forward, every vehicle with a Nismo badge will also pack a sizable jump in performance. Engineers will work to sharpen the suspension and brakes while offering more horsepower and revised aesthetics. In addition, Nissan will seek to burnish Nismo's credibility and visibility by putting forth bigger efforts in various motorsports series.

Remember a week ago when we talked about how YouSendIt is a Windows Phone 8 exclusive app. Well, the leading cloud file collaboration service has just been announced to be made available officially, being available only on both the Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820 smartphones as at press time. In short, those who own either one of these two Nokia devices are able to synchronize, store, sign and share cloud content from anywhere. This Windows Phone 8 app will also carry Near Field Communication (NFC) capability, enabling users to share content with but a simple tap between handsets.

Microsoft may have inadvertently given Windows 8 pirates a working activation key

Back in early August, the final copy of Windows 8 was leaked online which we assume was much to the dismay of Microsoft. Pirates got ahold of the copy and distributed it, but thanks to Microsoft's activation technology, the pirates had yet to figure out a way to fully activate the operating system. Instead pirates had to rely on third party KMS servers that would activate a copy for 6 months before it was required to be reactivated again. Not a huge deal but not exactly elegant, nor was it ideal either.
