According to a report issued by Forrester Research on Monday, Amazon could “easily” sell between 3 and 5 million tablets during the fourth quarter of this year if it prices the tablet “significantly” below the iPad and can meet customer demand. “Thus far, Apple has faced many would-be competitors, but none have gained significant market share,” Forrester Research analyst Sarah Rotman Epps wrote.
