An analyst for DisplaySearch boldly predicts that Apple could be launching an iPad mini with Retina display by the second half of 2013. Based on supply chain data, Paul Semenza tells CNET that the Retina iPad mini will have a screen resolution of 2,048 x 1,536, similar to the that of the full-size iPad with Retina display. Because of the smaller screen size, however, the iPad mini with Retina will have a richer pixel density at 324 ppi.
