Motorola has officially released the Xoom Android tablet in India, where customers can now buy both the 3G and the Wi-Fi-only versions. The Xoom 3G costs about 40,000 INR ($890), while the Xoom Wi-Fi can be yours for about 32,000 INR ($700). Both come with Android Honeycomb, 32GB of on-board memory, a 10.1 inch multi-touch display, A-GPS, dual-core 1GHz processor, and two cameras (rear and front-facing).
In case the Xoom is too expensive for you, you may want to wait for Asus to launch its Eee Pad Transformer tablet in India.
