Car designers are constantly up to all kinds of mischief, and the results often don't look like they'd hold water. But we certainly couldn't say that about Matt Stuble. The team leader at Nissan Design America happens also to be a world-class sailing champion, having started racing ice boats in Michigan before moving to ocean sailing in San Diego. While training the staff at Nissan's new design studio in Mexicali, Mexico, Struble and his team designed and built the new Class A Catamaran you see here, learning about design and modeling in the process.
