Do you use your Android-powered smartphone as a GPS navigation device. Well, I do admit that I use mine sparingly, unless I really, really have issues finding the place, as the battery life does take quite a beating whenever it indulges in something as power intensive as navigation. Well, there is a fair number of navigation apps available at the moment, although you tend to have to pay for the better ones – and Route 66 has just made available their app on the Android Market for free – at least for until the end of the year.
