The update to Android 2.3 Gingerbread for your smartphone has finally been released by Samsung and T-Mobile, almost nine months after the Galaxy S 4G became available, and about 11 months after Gingerbread was first unveiled – but who's counting. Well, if you have the Galaxy S 4G, today you shouldn't be counting. You should focus on getting the update onto your device. And that isn't as simple as it usually is, for this isn't an over-the-air update.
