Pentax has released the Pentax Marc Newson-designed K-01, WG-2 and WG-2 GPS cameras. The Pentax K-01 features a 16-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor with a 3-inch LCD display, 1080p Full HD video capture capabilities, and an ISO range from 100 to 25,600. Both the Optio WG-2 and WG-2 GPS are waterproof of up to 40 feet in depth, shockproof from drops up to 5 feet, crush-proof with the ability to withstand up to 220 LBF, cold-proof with temperatures up to -10C, and dust-proof. The Pentax K-01 is priced at $749.95 (body only), or $899.95 (with kit lens). The Pentax WG-2 and WG-2 GPS are priced at $349.95 and $399.95, respectively.
