Rollei today introduced a new mamber from its Powerflex line-up. Dubbed as the Rollei Powerflex 800, it is an ultra-light compact camera with a 12.5x optical zoom lens (24-300mm in 35mm format), which is combined with a high-quality 14-megapixel Sony image sensor and a large 2.7-inch colour display with 230.000 resolution. Measuring 102.9mm x 58.7mm x 21.1mm, the camera supports a super macro mode for short distances from 1-30cm, 22 different shooting modes, a 720p HD video mode and a night-photography mode with which is perfect for taking pictures in low light environment.
