Apple's doing away with Google Maps on iOS 6 was not a move that sat well with many people, and granted that Apple's Maps app is the fruity company's maiden attempt at navigational software, it is clear that you would do well to stick to a dedicated GPS device if you want to find your way around familiar territory.
