We've seen underwater cases for DSLR and P&S (point and shoot) cameras but I don't think we've ever encountered a P&S camera case that looked this rugged. Meet the Alpinist camera case – made out of machined aircraft grade 6061 T6 and 5052 aluminum alloys which means that unlike those rugged notebooks out there that weigh a ton, this one is actually pretty lightweight but at the same time it's impact and water resistant when the lid has been closed and sealed properly. Internally low density foam has been strategically position which we assume will help to absorb the impact should you drop the case.
