I do not know if you have watched CJ7, a science fiction show from Hong Kong which came out a few years ago, featuring the adventures of a young boy who was frequently bullied in school until he found an alien dog (which doesn't look like a pooch at all, mind you) that could fashion him anything he likes – an extra terrestrial genie, so to speak. This dog actually came up with a pair of technologically advanced shoes that allowed him to excel in various athletic fields such as running and high jump. How about the modern day equivalent.
