The other devices announced today are the Galaxy Player 4.0 and Galaxy Player 5.0. Now we've been waiting for these for quite a while, and they're more or less Galaxy S phones without the phone component, or in other words an iPod Touch rival. Both will come with either a 4-inch or 5-inch touchscreen, you can differentiate them by the names, are powered by Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, 8GB of onboard storage, a microSD expansion slot and are Wi-Fi enabled. They will be available for pre-order Sept. 27 and will come to retailers Oct.
