If you happen to be rocking to the LG Optimus S from Sprint, surely you were excited when you realized that the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update was made available to the smartphone already – only to be hit with a whammy of a news byte as more than just a handful of Optimus S owners complained about the update being gimped, causing nothing but trouble with the Optimus S. Having said that, Sprint has been duly notified by a growing number of disgruntled customers, and decided to put their foot down by halting the update, hoping to get their engineers working furiously to fix whatever issues that are connected to the Gingerbread release.
