Canon has announced the availability of the EOS C300 digital cinema camera. Designed for digital cinematography, the camera features an interchangeable lens, a Super 35 mm-equivalent 8.29-megapixel CMOS sensor, Canon's DIGIC DV III image processor, a pair of CF card slots, a fast-motion shooting and an HD-SDI output. It is available in two variants such as the EOS C300 with an EF mount and the EOS C300 PL with a PL mount. The Canon EOS C300 will be launched in January 2012, while the Canon EOS C300 PL will be released in March 2012.
