DLCs can be fun as they sometimes contain some quirky or vanity items. However some companies like to offer games with DLCs with additional characters being part of the DLC. A game that comes to mind is Capcom's Street Fighter X Tekken whereby players will have to pay in order to access the additional content. Unfortunately this move was not met well by players and it seems that Namco Bandai will be avoiding that route with its Tekken franchise.
This was revealed by its series producer, Katsuhiro Harada, who mentioned that characters are essential to the game and that they would never sell them individually.
