Following the leaked information yesterday, LG has issued a press release giving more details on its upcoming flagship smartphone - the Optimus G. The LG Optimus G is now confirmed to rock the quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 chipset, featuring four Krait cores, and a 30% thinner True HD IPS+ display generating 470 nits of brightness. Strangely enough, the resolution is 1280x768, and not the classic 720p other top dogs are currently using.
