Apple's 30-pin dock connector has been quite the mainstay for some time already, with the iPhone and the iPad sharing use of the “Apple cable” in order to send and receive data, in addition to synchronizing your collection of files while doubling up as a charger cable. Since Apple is always on the lookout to improve, it goes without saying that the 30-pin dock connector might soon be a thing of the past.
