Sprint Epic Touch 4G no longer holds Carrier IQ

Sprint Epic Touch 4G no longer holds Carrier IQ

Sprint has been taking advantage of the past few weeks to release new software updates for some of their handsets affected by Carrier IQ, removing the offending app, and it seems that the mobile carrier's flagship Android device at the moment, the Epic Touch 4G, is also on the receiving end for an update that ensures Carrier IQ will no longer bug you. Just in case the Epic Touch 4G looks familiar to you, this is because it is a variant of the Samsung Galaxy S II. This security update will also include updated modems in addition to a fix for an issue that involves multiple calendar alerts.

Ubergizmo, Sprint Epic Touch 4G no longer holds Carrier IQ
