Six days ago. That's when Verizon released its newest 4G LTE smartphone, the Android-powered LG Spectrum. This is the definition of high-end right now, yet Big Red only asks for $199.99 in return for shipping it to you (you need to sign a two-year contract though). That in itself was unexpectedly good pricing, especially coming from a carrier that's gotten us used to $249.99 or $299.99 LTE phones.
But now, six days later, you can get the LG Spectrum for less than half of what it's still going for at Verizon. Amazon will let you have one for just $79.99.
