Japanese dude smashes chicken wing bowl record in the US, 337 in 30 minutes

USA, Philadelphia – In a filled indoor arena on Friday, the city's annual chicken wing eating extravaganza was about to start. Whilst being observed by 17 000 spectators, Takeru Kobayashi set a new record: 337 chicken wings in 30 minutes. Kobayashi-san, weighing only 127 pounds (58 Kg) earned himself both champion trophee and walked away with 20 000 USD prize money. The previous record was 255-wings set by Jonathan “Super Squibb” Squibb, who won the last 3 consecutive years.
