Google has just announced a new payment option that'll soon start filtering through to our Android apps – subscriptions. This lets developers set a monthly fee, then have app users contribute this amount every month, automatically, through their usual Play Store payment method. Here's Google on the new feature:. Starting today, developers can use In-app Billing to sell monthly or annual subscriptions from inside of their apps. All subscriptions are auto-renewing, for every app and game and every type of subscription product.
