Announced earlier today in Beijing, the Sony Xperia Z Ultra is certainly an interesting device. Sony calls it a smartphone – yet its massive 6.4 inch display makes it look almost like a tablet. So it's safer to include it in the increasingly popular “phablet” category. While the press release announcing it didn't contain pricing details, Sony France is saying that the Z Ultra has an estimated price of €729. Needless to say, that's very expensive. But I've been expecting a high price anyway.
