If you're looking forward to a new Contra game, Konami might have something to announce during E3, especially since the folks at AllGamesBeta have spotted a registration for a trademark called "Contra Run and Gun". The trademark was registered by Konami on the 4th of June, and according to the description, the trademark will cover “Video game software; video game programs; computer game software; computer game programs; electronic game programs.” Konami did tease a new Contra game back in 2011 during E3 as well, although we have not really heard anything since.
