While the second-generation Nexus 7 tablet was not announced by Google at I/O 2013 last month, it is coming later his year - that's pretty much a given. DigiTimes has it that the new Nexus 7 will be available starting July, with its 16GB version costing $229. The website notes that Google wants "to avoid competing directly against entry-level tablets." This is a slightly different approach for the Mountain View giant, which is selling the current Nexus 7 for prices starting at $199.
