Amazon tablet relies on two-finger multi-touch to cut costs?

We know that the US is about to run out of cash in slightly more than a week's time unless the politicians come to a resolution, which means companies that are prudent enough would have long worked on cost cutting measures – and in Amazon's case, their upcoming tablet might see a lower quality touchscreen display that supports just two-finger multi-touch, which is a far cry from other devices such as the iPad 2 that is capable of supporting up to 10-finger touches simultaneously.
