Rogers has just announced that it would be the first Canadian mobile carrier to release a 3D smartphone. And, in fact, it will release not one, but two 3D handsets: the HTC Evo 3D, and the LG Optimus 3D. Both devices will "be available exclusively from Rogers this summer", coming with Android (2.3 Gingerbread on the Evo 3D, and 2.2 Froyo on the Optimus 3D), and dual-core processors (1.2GHz Qualcomm MSM8660 for the Evo 3D, and 1GHz TI OMAP4430 for the Optimus 3D).
The Evo 3D has a 4.3 inch qHD display, while the Optimus 3D features a 4.3 inch WVGA one.
