Google has once again wowed us with its rocketing Android activations stats, telling the media at today's financial data presentation that it's currently seeing 550,000 new Android devices unboxed and switched on around the world every single day. This is up from the 550k daily number that Andy Rubin revealed a few weeks ago and is approaching three times as many as the 200k figure revealed just last August.
