Apart from the US-bound Galaxy Note, Samsung is also set to offer a new line of ultrabooks during its CES 2012 show. The Samsung Series 9 sports a 15-inch screen on a 14-inch body. How a screen that large can fit into a smaller body. It is all about semantics, really. Traditionally, a laptop with 15-inch form factor means that it has a 15-inch screen plus half an inch or so for the bezel. What Samsung is trying to say is that the Series 9 ultrabooks will be coming with narrower bezels to match a 14-inch model.
This would be the second generation of Samsung Series 9 notebooks, which are said to be as thin as tablets even when closed.
