Verizon's Motorola Droid 4 and LG Spectrum will get global roaming ability before the end of June

Verizon's Motorola Droid 4 and LG Spectrum will get global roaming ability before the end of June

In an interesting twist, it turns out that two of Verizon's newest LTE-capable smartphones have global roaming abilities as well (a.k.a they're ‘world phones'). Both the Motorola Droid 4 and the LG Spectrum should be able to roam on any CDMA or GSM network worldwide. In fact, we've previously heard that the Spectrum would be a world phone, and were sad to see that gone unmentioned in the phone's official announcement. This feature of course is nothing new for Verizon, after all it's been selling global roaming devices for a while now.
